Annette Gonzalez, DVM
Dr. Gonzalez earned her DVM from Ross University in 2008, and attended Purdue University for her senior clinics. She also earned a Veterinary Associate of Applied Science degree from Suny Farmingdale in 1992 and was a Licensed Veterinary Technician for many years before going to vet school.
Prior to joining the Middlebranch Veterinary team, Dr. Gonzalez had been practicing veterinary medicine in the area for nine years. Previously, she also worked at the Bronx Zoo as a Veterinary Technician; as a Director for the Center for Animal Care and Control, Brooklyn Shelter; and as an Animal Health Technician for NYS Department of Animal Industry for five years.
Dr. Gonzalez has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, along with exotics and pocket pets. She also enjoys working with local farms, caring for llamas, sheep, goats and alpacas. Dr. Gonzalez is an active member of the AVMA, NYSVMS, HVVMS and The Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners. She enjoys time spent with family and friends.
